Competitive levels along with U18 Rec are charged a $175.00 Rep fee along with registration cost. This fee is to cover the costs of 80-minute ice times.

Families with two (2) or more children registered and playing on NWMHA teams for the 2023-24 season will receive a family discount.  After registering one player, each subsequent registration will receive a discount as follows, $200 (second child), $250 (3+).  Those families with U7 level players or goalies will not qualify for a family rate as it is already heavily discounted. Please note:  Players who do not remain on a NWMHA team do not qualify for this family discount.  

Payment may be made in full, or by way of three installments (September 20th, October 20th and November 20th) by cheque, cash, or online registration. NWMHA will charge a $25 NSF fee on all credit card payments or cheques declined for non-sufficient funds.

ANY PLAYER ACCOUNT NOT PAID IN FULL BY NOVEMBER 20TH 2023 WILL NO LONGER BE REGISTERED WITH NWMHA AND UNABLE TO PLAY UNTIL THE BALANCE OF THE ACCOUNT IS PAID.

A non-refundable late fee of $75.00 will apply to all registrations received after the deadline of September 20th for all players.  In order to be considered registered, your online registration must be completed by midnight on September 20th. Any returning players who do not register online by midnight on September 20th 2023, will be charged a late fee which will be included in their registration fees at time of check-out after that date.

Upon Making a Competitive Team:

  • Competitive fees of $175 per player are due by January 15, 2024.  This fee will be submitted to NWMHA as one payment from your team through your Team Manager, not separate payments for individual players.

Registration Refunds

Refunds will be considered by the registrar, NWMHA up to December 1st, and after this date, by the NWMHA Executive. The following criteria will be used to determine refunds:

All refunds issued after October 15th are subject to a $65 insurance fee.

Registration refunds do not apply to checking clinics, NSF fees, late fees, and tryout fees.

A registered player who voluntarily withdraws from the program prior to December 31st, will receive a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the season. After December 31st, refunds will not be given.

A registered player who is injured prior to December 31st, and the injuries do not permit return to play for the remainder of the season will receive a pro-rated refund.

No refund will be issued to players who have missed time due to injury but who are able to return to play.

No refund will be issued to players who are injured after December 31st and their injury prevents return to play for the remainder of the season.

No refund will be issued to any player/family who has been released from the Association following the steps of the Behavior Policy.

For U15 and U18 players attending tryouts for other teams, refunds will be issued upon confirmation that the player will not play for NWMHA.

Financial Assistance

The following links provide access to various programs available to assist families in financial need, whose children may not otherwise be able to participate in organized sports.

Application for assistance through the programs below is the responsibility of individual families.  If you have applied to one of these, or another organization, for financial assistance, please contact the registrar at nwmha.registrar@gmail.com to notify NWMHA of the application.  Proof of application for financial assistance must be provided in order to complete your registration and to avoid the late registration fee for non-submission of payment by the aforementioned due date. You can also contact our treasurer at ashley14_29@hotmail.com or 902-304-7012 if you have an outstanding balance and/or would like to make payment arrangements.
