We're excited to announce that the Sydney Minor Hockey Association and New Waterford Minor Hockey Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) covering U11, U13 and U15 hockey.
This is an exciting step toward a stronger partnership between our two organizations. By working together, we aim to create more opportunities for player development, while continuing to respect and maintain the unique local identities, traditions and communities that make both associations special.
This partnership is about bringing our organizations together where it benefits our players, families and hockey communities, while ensuring that both associations continue to proudly represent their respective communities.
New Waterford Minor Hockey will hold an information session tomorrow (Tuesday August 25th at 7pm at the NWDCC) to provide families with more information about the partnership, including tickets, the proposed structure, layout and how the U11, U13 and U15 programs will operate. Sydney will announce their meeting later this week.
We're excited about the possibilities and the opportunities it can create for all our players.
